Welcome to Holland Western Saddle Club
HWSC is a riding club that prides itself on providing a fun, fair, safe, competitive, and family oriented horse showing experience; a place where competitors of all ages, abilities and experiences can feel comfortable learning and beginning their show career, both in and out of the show ring. We specialize in providing youth riding classes that focus on Western and English styles of riding and showmanship.
The Holland Western Saddle Club is a 501(c)4 organization that was originally formed in 1964 and currently sits on approximately 40 partially wooded acres in Laketown Township, on the south side of Holland, MI. This organization has grown over the years, and takes pride in being a family friendly place where all those who participate have the opportunity to grow their confidence and leadership skills, practice goal setting, and realize the rewards of hard work and commitment both on and off the horse.
The property boasts a show arena with grass center, a large sand arena, a fenced show trail arena, trails through the woods , clubhouse with kitchen, sound system with speakers, rustic campsites with high-lines, and portable restrooms. Additionally, a new and ever growing Extreme Mountain Trail Course consisting of natural obstacles was constructed in 2016 approved by the International Mountain Trail Course Association (IMTCA) in 2017.
